Estée Lauder Pure Color Lipsticks in Hot Kiss, Tiger Eye and Blushing

As part of the Estée Lauder gift set I got for Christmas, I received three Estée Lauder Pure Color Lipsticks (£19.50) in the shades Hot Kiss, Tiger Eye and Blushing. The packaging is different to the ones sold individually, and I quite like the solid gold case they come in.

 Hot Kiss and Blushing are creme lipsticks, whilst Tiger Eye is a shimmer formula. All three lipsticks are very creamy and glossy on application, although they do smell very 'lipsticky' and waxy. All three don't last all day because they are glossy, but they lack too much slip so last on me about four hours without huge fading.

 Hot Kiss is less red on application than in the bullet - it comes across on the lips as more of a reddened brown brick shade. It's pigmented and glossy, and captures the 90's trend of the moment pretty well, I think.

Tiger Eye is unlike any lipstick I've tried - not completely opaque, and a gold shimmer. I'm not sure about this alone but perhaps layered over another lipstick this would add a fun, glimmery dimension.

 Blushing is by far my favourite of the three. An opaque, creamy, medium toned pink, I think this would be flattering on most skin tones, and it's so pretty and soft looking that I forsee myself wearing this a lot in the future.
