Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Collection

Hey everyone!
I wrote, way back in the beginning of this blog, about my love for Soap and Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub. So long ago was this that the packaging was blue (Pink! Blue! Pink!) Now, they've expanded the range of Sugar Crush products to include a Body Wash and Body Buttercream. I got all three for Christmas and was overjoyed. You can get the Scrub (£8), Wash (£6.50) and Buttercream (£10.50) from Boots.

As ever, the scrub is the standout product of the bunch. They all smell the same (citrusy, like a mojito, lots of lime and brown sugar) but the scrub smells the strongest. Because it's not too abrasive, it's great for my sensitive skin, as the sugary grains slough off dead skin but the oils smooth and relieve my skin. I always feel like I smell great after using it.
The body wash is foamy, but not overly so. It creates a small, workable lather but no huge bubbles, which is great. It smells lovely, washes off easily and leaves me feeling clean and citrus-scented but not squeaky-clean which I hate (and is not really great for your skin, anyway).
Now, the cream. I love Soap and Glory's Butter Up for it's light texture and easy absorption, but this blows that out of the water (sorry, loyal Butter Up, I still love you!). This cream is so light it feels like whipped egg whites, almost. It smooth into my skin and sinks in really quickly, which, if you hate feeling clogged up and greasy like me, is perfection. It smells softly, but not overwhelmingly, of fresh lime, and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth, but not tacky.
Overall, I think Soap and Glory have outdone themselves with this range. There is not one product I would fault, and I can use them all without feeling overwhelmed with scent (it does build, but each product is less scented than the last) and the smell is not overly sweet or cloying.

Have you tried any of this range? Do you have a favourite? Let me know!

  1. I got the scrub as part of the 'Best of All' set for Christmas and haven't got round to trying it yet as I have so many body scrubs on the go at the minute! Can't wait to give this a try though!

  2. I have the scrub but I've not tried any of the others as I've still got most of a big Clean on me and the Righteous butter to use up, but I'd love to get them all eventually, the smell is heavenly! xo

    1. The wash and the body cream are just as good! I like them better than the Righteous Butter, but it's never been my favourite! It's weird because everyone else seems to love it so much. Sugar Crush stuff smells amazing.

  4. Went to boots so smell all the S&G things and I hated this whole range! So stinky! I think I'm just not the biggest fan of non-sweet citrusy smelling products. They have a cakey smelling range that I LOVE though!

    1. Aw no! I think you and I are opposites this way - I'm not a big fan of super vanilla-y scents! Although smelling like cake... :)

  8. I wish we would get this part of the line here in our drugstores. We don't get any of the Sugar Crush products, sadly. At least not yet! S&G can do no wrong, though. :)
