Remember last week I was talking about my first drugstore foundation buy in a little while? Well, this is my first drugstore concealer buy in years. I struggled to find a concealer that worked for me for so long - went without for ages, then tried MAC, then settled on Bobbi Brown - but I've hear good things about the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer (£7.49) so I grabbed one in Shade 52.
I know, every time I talk about foundation or base products in general, I moan about shade range. But really? I think it's important. This concealer comes in three shades, none of them suitable for darker skin.
This concealer performs really well. Yet again my expectations have been surpassed, performance-wise, by Bourjois. You need literally the tiniest amount, and you can either pat on or blend with a brush, and this will brighten, lighten and conceal your underye bags.
The before and after shots show this - although on closer inspection I need to blend out at the corner - and it wears! It wears pretty much for about six hours without starting to fade, I found. Around the nose and so on it could be a little drying - I find that exfoliating and moisturising there would help, but for undereyes this made me look more awake and concealed my blemishes too.
I really like this concealer. Have you ever tried it?

I haven't tried this yet but it sounds a bit like the Smashbox high definition concealer which I'm about to run out of. Will give this a go for sure! :)

I love this concealer, although when I apply too much it's really yellow. xo

I have this concealer and really love it for the undereye area! It definitely brightens the area up which is absolutely necessary when your days start at 7am. Haha! Also agree that although I love it for the eyes, I prefer using something else around my nose as it can become drying. Great blog post. :)

Oh yeah, I always apply this before an early shift at work! And glad you have the same issue! At least I'm not the only one.
