ELF Studio Lash Extending Mascara Review

 Hey everyone!
A mascara for you today - and I warn you, I am about to gush about this mascara. I love it. Really love it. And you will know, if you read this blog regularly, that I am hard to please when it comes to mascara. My lashes stay stubbornly straight, they have little blonde tips, and they won't flutter out like other people's lashes. But this mascara has made me very happy. For a bargain price too - the ELF Studio Lash Extending Mascara costs £3.75*.
The packaging is fine - very long tube with a flared lid, and the wand is rubber with one long and one short side. For some reason this really works for me - it gets in at the bottom and corner lashes, and works really well at dividing, lengthening and 'fluffing' my lashes.

As you can see, my lashes don't hold a huge amount of curl anyway, but this flares the ends up slightly, adds length and definition and is very pigmented. My eyelashes look feathery and fluffy with not a hint of spider-lash in sight.
For some reason this mascara feels more lightweight and flexible than any mascara I have ever tried - I don't fear the clump, and it doesn't seem to weight my lashes down in the slightest. No flaking, no migrating - what's not to love?
Have you tried this mascara? What's your favourite mascara anyway?

*Product sent for consideration for review. This does not change my opinion on the product in the slightest - I am always 100% honest on this blog.

  6. About how long is the brush part of the wand? I have very deepset eyes, and have an impossible time putting mascara on. I'm looking for a very narrow brush, not too long. Maybe then I won't get more mascara on my upper lid than on my lashes, LOL!

    1. I would say it is about 3/4 the length of my eye, for comparisons sake. I think this might be the brush for you, especially since it has short bristles on one side for application on tricky areas!

  7. Excited to find your blog. I was looking for swatches and one of your pics came up. I immediately though, "Hey, she has almost exactly the same coloring as I do!" And then I saw that you're Scottish - my heritage, too, so it makes sense.
