A couple of days ago, I was lucky enough to win a giveaway hosted by the lovely Julie of Musings of Make Up Maniac. Here are the things I received:
How lovely is that Biba bag? I've never used a makeup bag before, outside of the huge one I use for travelling. I'm excited to use this one as it's so pretty though - I'm thinking I will rotate products into it so that I get more use out of them!
I also got Benefit Bad Gal Lash Mascara, which I will review when I use it - I have a couple of mascaras to use up first!
But the thing I'll be talking about today is MAC Lipstick in Syrup - I got to pick a shade, and this is the one I chose.
How gorgeous is this colour? It's my first ever Lustre finish, and I'm really enjoying it. It's a semi-sheer, buildable pink-purple that looks like a stain on my lips. It's not hyper glossy but it's not matte either - it looks kind of like I have a balm on.
It's not the longest lasting lipstick; 3 hours of so without drinking or eating. I think this would look different on everyone - it looks a medium pink on me with hints of purple, but I think that's due to my natural lip colour too. I think this is the perfect balance between pink and purple too.
