FOTD: Autumnal in Spring

Hey everyone!
I thought I'd post an FOTD with my new haircut! I know it's spring now, but it's been such miserable weather here it still feels like autumn. The grey skies and rain put me in the mood to wear a dark lip. So out came Revlon Black Cherry - one of my favourite dark lipsticks. I also saw this graphic liner  from Paris Fashion Week and decided to do a more wearable version. Although I might try it out in the dramatic way for nighttime.

I'm also experimenting with Percy & Reed Quite Frankly Fabulous Finishing Polish, which came free in my copy of this month's Glamour - I'll post a full review on it soon!
What do you think?

  1. WOW. Dark lipsticks suit you so well. Not sure if I myself can pull it off. :/

    1. I bet you can! I thought pink lipsticks would be terrible on me but when I tried them I was pleasantly surprised! Thank you very much though :D

    1. Thanks very much!
I found that once I moved out of my comfort zone (pinky nudes) it was very hard to go back! I now have more reds, purples and bright pinks than nudes!

  5. Thanks for showing off the black cherry lipstick from Revlon, I've been wondering what it looks like on lighter skin tones -- it's lovely, can't wait to try it!
